Pagi semalam, 16hb Mac 2014, kami, AJK PIBG SKTPP (wakil guru dan ibubapa) telah mengadakan lawatan ke Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan (PIS). Tiga orang wakil guru dan tujuh orang wakil ibubapa telah turut serta, diketuai oleh Puan Guru Besar SKTPP. Lawatan ini adalah susulan daripada kesudian Tuan Pengarah PIS, Datuk Dr Arshad Kassim, menerima jemputan pihak SKTPP dan PIBG untuk merasmikan Mesyuarat Agung PIBG pada 1hb Mac lepas. Dalam ucapan perasmian mesyuarat tersebut, Tuan Pengarah telah mengumumkan untuk menjadikan SKTPP sebagai anak angkat PIS. Jadinya, kami ke sana hari ini adalah untuk membuat lawatan kunjung hormat...sebagai ucapan salam untuk ukhuwah yang lebih berpanjangan. In shaa Allah. Kami sampai ke PSI sedikit awal daripada masa yang dijanjikan. Jadinya kami duduk minum2 dulu di cafe berhampiran. Saya tak minum pun...sebab tak rasa nak minum. Yang lain2 ada yang minum kopi-o, nescafe tarik dan air jagung. Alhamdulillah...pada masa yang sama juga hujan membasahi bumi Pasir Gudang. Kredit kepada En Syed Zainal Abidin untuk gambar di atas Pun Norlina, Puan Hajah Rosyati (GB), En Jasman (YDP), Tn Haji Adam (NYDP) Cikgu Hafizan (S/U), Cikgu Rosli (GPK Koko), En Syed Zainal Abidin, En Ungku Shaharudin Pn Shafizei Sekitar jam 11:00 pagi, kami dibawa masuk ke bilik mesyuarat di Aras 1 Bangunan Pentadbiran. Masa tu Tuan Pengarah baru je habis meeting dengan kumpulan yang lain. Beliau disertai oleh Ketua Jabatan Hospitaliti, En Syed Shikh bin Syed A. Kadir dan juga Ketua Jabatan Pengajian Am, En Noor Azmi bin Hj Asmawi. Inilah En Noor Azmi. Mukanya ada iras2 TMJ...kan? Secara umumnya, persetujuan telahpun kami capai untuk menggunakan fasiliti, tenaga serta kemudahan yang ada di PSI untuk membangunkan bukan sahaja nilai insan untuk pelajar2 tetapi juga lain aktiviti yang melibatkan guru2 dan ibubapa. Banyak program yang boleh dijalankan dan diadakan dengan usahasama PIS, SKTPP dan PIBG. In shaa Alla, kami akan gunakan segala kemudahan dan fasiliti tersebut untuk pembangunan anak2 dan sekolah. Penyampaian cenderahati kepada kami oleh En Syed Shikh dan En Noor Azmi Apa isi kandungan beg? Inilah barang2nya...ada buku lapuran tahunan 2012, diari 2014, buku nota, pen dan rantai kunci. Selepas itu kami dijamu makan tengah hari berupa nasi minyak (kot...). Tapi saya tak makan pun...minum air sirap sahaja untuk membasahkan tekak. Selesai makan tengah hari, kami dibawa melawat sekitar PSI oleh En Syed Shikh. Tapi kami tak larat dah nak jelajah segala pelusuk PSI. Kami pergi ke perpustakaan dan melawat Jabatan Hospitaliti aje. En Syed Shikh bawa kami masuk ke bahagian dapur dan restoran mereka. Sampai di situ sahaja lawatan kami. Terima kasih kepada pihak PSI terutamanya kepada Tuan Pengarah yang sudi menerima kedatangan kami. In shaa Allah, kita jumpa lagi di lain masa. In pursuing quality and excellence in TVET, the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) covers another ground as each of the three Malaysian Premier Polytechnics submitted themselves to APACC accreditation through a two-day on-site visit, from February 20 – 28, 2014. The team of accreditors, composed of Dr. Hazrat Hussain (CPSC Faculty Consultant and Team Leader), Dr. Raul Muyong (APACC-certified Accreditor), Dr. Mohamad Hisyam Mohd. Hashim (Translator), Ms. Adrienne Abril (APACC Officer) and Mr. Bryan Noel Lazaro (APACC Officer) began the series of on-site visits to Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam, Selangor on February 20 – 21. The team continued with Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan, Pasir Gudang, Johor on February 24 – 25 and Politeknik Ungku Omar, Ipoh, Perak on February 27 – 28.

Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PSA), located in Shah Alam, Selangor, was initially established as Politeknik Shah Alam in 1997. PSA specializes on Medical Electronics.
