Abdullah Mustaffar Razali and Heah Chee Shean, both 22, recently won the Gold and Best Colour Choice award in their respective competition categories at the 2013 Nippon Paint Young Designer Award (NPYDA).
Abdullah, who won the Architecture category's top title, transformed a single-function futsal court into a multiple-use "Kuantan Youth Centre".
He introduced canopies on his building design to harvest rainwater as well as green-coloured walls to reduce building temperature and induce better air filtration.
"It is not just a conducive environment for the younger community, it is a place that incorporates functionality with ecological features," explained the Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah student.

Heah, from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, won the Interior Design category's coveted award for her colourful "Flamboyant Pier Play School".
Reinterpreting tradition, she played around with basic industrial containers, arranging them in a cluster that allows ventilation, wind flow and natural sunlight.
"My design is made from simple green ideas, but it is cost-effective and easy to construct. Most importantly, safety is key since it is meant for pre-schoolers," said Heah.
This year's competition theme, "Re:Think. Re:Create", challenged students to dig deep into what they perceive to be functional site development.
"Current landscape trends demand design concepts that are developed in response to current issues such as sustainability, community and health," said Nippon Paint Malaysia Sdn Bhd group general manager Gladys Goh.
Interior design category gold: Heah's Flamboyant Pier Play School

Unique:Heah's Flamboyant 'Pier Play School' won the Interior Design Category gold.

"Re:Think.Re:Create wasn't just a colour competition. It works on the platform that recognises green factors, efficient use of space, and purpose, which is what students need to learn now as they are the ones who build the future."
The architecture category's Silver Award went to Wan Mei Zhen from UCSI University for "Cultural Centre of KL", honorary mention to UCSI's Tan Kwon Chong for "Helio Health Centre" and Zheng Xing from Linton College for "KLCC" while the Best Green Innovation award also went to Tan.
The interior design category's Silver Award was presented to Lee Jian Ru from KBU International College for "The Den Library & Art Centre", honorary mention went to Malaysian Institute of Art's Lum Choom Sam and KBU's Foh Vui Siang.
Foh also received the Best Green Innovation title.
The gold winners received RM3,000, a trophy, certificate and a learning trip to Japan under the coaching of Super Potato's Takashi Sugimoto and Sadao Tsuchiya of Muji fame.

Akhirnya selesai juga pengajian kami di Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah ,Pahang selama 3tahun ini, dalam jurusan "Diploma In Logistics And Supply Chain Management".Sepanjang 3tahun ini banyak dugaan dan rintangan datang salih berganti , banyak juga suka dan duka ditempuhi bersama, kami ibarat adik beradik disini , setiap masalah akan dibincang bersama-sama. Terlalu  banyak kenangan manis dan pahit kami disini. Mula-mula masuki kelas ini kami saling tidak kenali sama sendiri tapi lama kelamaan kami menjadi semakin erat lebih erat dari adik beradik sendiri. Dari semester satu sampai ke semester enam kami bersama. Kami juga memiliki PA yang baik dan terlalu ambil berat tentang kami iaitu Puan Fadhilah Binti Mohamad, beliau menjaga kami seperti anaknya sendiri selama 3tahun kami menuntut ilmu disini. Susah payah kami akhirnya kami berjaya menamatkan pengajian kami dengan jayanya.. Alhamdulillah kami sekelas berjaya menghabiskan Diploma ini sama-sama, kami akan konvo bersama-sama, In Sha ALLAH tahun depan bulan April kami akan mengenggam segulung Diploma. kawan-kawanku kamu semua sentiasa di dalam ingatan...

Abdullah, who won the Architecture category's top title, transformed a single-function futsal court into a multiple-use "Kuantan Youth Centre".

PENDAFTARAN PELAJAR BAHARU SESI JUN 2014

Sukacita diucapkan tahniah dan syabas di atas kejayaan anda ditawarkan tempat pengajian di Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah (PSIS), Selangor Darul Ehsan.

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa saudara/saudari ditawarkan kemudahan KOLEJ KEDIAMAN PELAJAR.

Semua calon pelajar dikehendaki mematuhi perkara-perkara berikut:

  1. Menjelaskan semua pembayaran di Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB) mengikut jumlah yang telah ditetapkan seperti dalam Jadual Pembayaran. Bayaran boleh dibuat mulai 26 Mei 2014 (ISNIN).

Sistem pendaftaran on-line akan diaktifkan mulai 28 MEI 2014 (RABU). Tatacara pendaftaran on-line disediakan di dalam Buku Panduan Pendaftaran.

Proses pendaftaran akan berlangsung sepertimana yang telah ditetapkan di dalam Jadual Pendaftaran yang disertakan. Kerjasama daripada anda dalam mematuhi masa pendaftaran amat diperlukan dan dihargai bagi memastikan proses pendaftaran berjalan dengan lancar dan teratur.

My Polytechnic Sultan Idris Shah!!!! It  consists of 5 departments such as Electrical Departments, Civil Engineering departments, Hospitality Departments, Information Technology Department and Commerce Department. Originally,PSIS is known as Politeknik Sabak Bernam and now well known as Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah. I am proud to say that all our lecturers in PSIS are highly educated and also degree holders. PSIS is an area that surrounded by greenish trees and also breezeful beach. The fresh environment encourage students to study in peaceful mind. Moreover, the accommodation in PSIS such as hostels, library, gym, futsal court, hostel's food, multi-purpose hall and etc are provided for students. These allows them to stay and study in comfortable and also safe place. Students can buy food at 2 cafeterias' which are placed at administration and also hostel. Shops "Koperasi" are available in both administration and hostel's cafe, its really helpful for us to buy all the needed things as fast as could. Oh yah!!!! Forgot to tell about our beautiful lake. It is situated just in the middle of our poly, can be said that it is the highlight of our poly. We can carry out a lot of activities at there, for example boating, walking and also rest at the hut around the lake.

Abdullah Mustaffar Razali and Heah Chee Shean, both 22, recently won the Gold and Best Colour Choice award in their respective competition categories at the 2013 Nippon Paint Young Designer Award (NPYDA).
Abdullah, who won the Architecture category's top title, transformed a single-function futsal court into a multiple-use "Kuantan Youth Centre".
He introduced canopies on his building design to harvest rainwater as well as green-coloured walls to reduce building temperature and induce better air filtration.
"It is not just a conducive environment for the younger community, it is a place that incorporates functionality with ecological features," explained the Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah student.

Heah, from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, won the Interior Design category's coveted award for her colourful "Flamboyant Pier Play School".
Reinterpreting tradition, she played around with basic industrial containers, arranging them in a cluster that allows ventilation, wind flow and natural sunlight.
"My design is made from simple green ideas, but it is cost-effective and easy to construct. Most importantly, safety is key since it is meant for pre-schoolers," said Heah.
This year's competition theme, "Re:Think. Re:Create", challenged students to dig deep into what they perceive to be functional site development.
"Current landscape trends demand design concepts that are developed in response to current issues such as sustainability, community and health," said Nippon Paint Malaysia Sdn Bhd group general manager Gladys Goh.

My Polytechnic Sultan Idris Shah!!!! It  consists of 5 departments such as Electrical Departments, Civil Engineering departments, Hospitality Departments, Information Technology Department and Commerce Department. Originally,PSIS is known as Politeknik Sabak Bernam and now well known as Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah. I am proud to say that all our lecturers in PSIS are highly educated and also degree holders. PSIS is an area that surrounded by greenish trees and also breezeful beach. The fresh environment encourage students to study in peaceful mind. Moreover, the accommodation in PSIS such as hostels, library, gym, futsal court, hostel's food, multi-purpose hall and etc are provided for students. These allows them to stay and study in comfortable and also safe place. Students can buy food at 2 cafeterias' which are placed at administration and also hostel. Shops "Koperasi" are available in both administration and hostel's cafe, its really helpful for us to buy all the needed things as fast as could. Oh yah!!!! Forgot to tell about our beautiful lake. It is situated just in the middle of our poly, can be said that it is the highlight of our poly. We can carry out a lot of activities at there, for example boating, walking and also rest at the hut around the lake.

Abdullah, who won the Architecture category's top title, transformed a single-function futsal court into a multiple-use "Kuantan Youth Centre".
He introduced canopies on his building design to harvest rainwater as well as green-coloured walls to reduce building temperature and induce better air filtration.

Unique:Heah's Flamboyant 'Pier Play School' won the Interior Design Category gold.

The architecture category's Silver Award went to Wan Mei Zhen from UCSI University for "Cultural Centre of KL", honorary mention to UCSI's Tan Kwon Chong for "Helio Health Centre" and Zheng Xing from Linton College for "KLCC" while the Best Green Innovation award also went to Tan.
The interior design category's Silver Award was presented to Lee Jian Ru from KBU International College for "The Den Library & Art Centre", honorary mention went to Malaysian Institute of Art's Lum Choom Sam and KBU's Foh Vui Siang.
Foh also received the Best Green Innovation title.
The gold winners received RM3,000, a trophy, certificate and a learning trip to Japan under the coaching of Super Potato's Takashi Sugimoto and Sadao Tsuchiya of Muji fame.

My Polytechnic Sultan Idris Shah!!!! It  consists of 5 departments such as Electrical Departments, Civil Engineering departments, Hospitality Departments, Information Technology Department and Commerce Department. Originally,PSIS is known as Politeknik Sabak Bernam and now well known as Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah. I am proud to say that all our lecturers in PSIS are highly educated and also degree holders. PSIS is an area that surrounded by greenish trees and also breezeful beach. The fresh environment encourage students to study in peaceful mind. Moreover, the accommodation in PSIS such as hostels, library, gym, futsal court, hostel's food, multi-purpose hall and etc are provided for students. These allows them to stay and study in comfortable and also safe place. Students can buy food at 2 cafeterias' which are placed at administration and also hostel. Shops "Koperasi" are available in both administration and hostel's cafe, its really helpful for us to buy all the needed things as fast as could. Oh yah!!!! Forgot to tell about our beautiful lake. It is situated just in the middle of our poly, can be said that it is the highlight of our poly. We can carry out a lot of activities at there, for example boating, walking and also rest at the hut around the lake.

Abdullah Mustaffar Razali and Heah Chee Shean, both 22, recently won the Gold and Best Colour Choice award in their respective competition categories at the 2013 Nippon Paint Young Designer Award (NPYDA).
Abdullah, who won the Architecture category's top title, transformed a single-function futsal court into a multiple-use "Kuantan Youth Centre".
He introduced canopies on his building design to harvest rainwater as well as green-coloured walls to reduce building temperature and induce better air filtration.
"It is not just a conducive environment for the younger community, it is a place that incorporates functionality with ecological features," explained the Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah student.

Heah, from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, won the Interior Design category's coveted award for her colourful "Flamboyant Pier Play School".
Reinterpreting tradition, she played around with basic industrial containers, arranging them in a cluster that allows ventilation, wind flow and natural sunlight.
