Tiga orang wakil guru dan tujuh orang wakil ibubapa telah turut serta, diketuai oleh Puan Guru Besar SKTPP. Lawatan ini adalah susulan daripada kesudian Tuan Pengarah PIS, Datuk Dr Arshad Kassim, menerima jemputan pihak SKTPP dan PIBG untuk merasmikan Mesyuarat Agung PIBG pada 1hb Mac lepas. Dalam ucapan perasmian mesyuarat tersebut, Tuan Pengarah telah mengumumkan untuk menjadikan SKTPP sebagai anak angkat PIS. Secara umumnya, persetujuan telahpun kami capai untuk menggunakan fasiliti, tenaga serta kemudahan yang ada di PSI untuk membangunkan bukan sahaja nilai insan untuk pelajar2 tetapi juga lain aktiviti yang melibatkan guru2 dan ibubapa. Banyak program yang boleh dijalankan dan diadakan dengan usahasama PIS, SKTPP dan PIBG. In shaa Alla, kami akan gunakan segala kemudahan dan fasiliti tersebut untuk pembangunan anak2 dan sekolah. Penyampaian cenderahati kepada kami oleh En Syed Shikh dan En Noor Azmi Apa isi kandungan beg? Inilah barang2nya...ada buku lapuran tahunan 2012, diari 2014, buku nota, pen dan rantai kunci. Selepas itu kami dijamu makan tengah hari berupa nasi minyak (kot...). Tapi saya tak makan pun...minum air sirap sahaja untuk membasahkan tekak. Selesai makan tengah hari, kami dibawa melawat sekitar PSI oleh En Syed Shikh. Tapi kami tak larat dah nak jelajah segala pelusuk PSI. Kami pergi ke perpustakaan dan melawat Jabatan Hospitaliti aje. En Syed Shikh bawa kami masuk ke bahagian dapur dan restoran mereka. Sampai di situ sahaja lawatan kami. This year's competition theme, "Re:Think. Re:Create", challenged students to dig deep into what they perceive to be functional site development. "Current landscape trends demand design concepts that are developed in response to current issues such as sustainability, community and health," said Nippon Paint Malaysia Sdn Bhd group general manager Gladys Goh. Akhirnya selesai juga pengajian kami di Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah ,Pahang selama 3tahun ini, dalam jurusan "Diploma In Logistics And Supply Chain Management".Sepanjang 3tahun ini banyak dugaan dan rintangan datang salih berganti , banyak juga suka dan duka ditempuhi bersama, kami ibarat adik beradik disini , setiap masalah akan dibincang bersama-sama. Terlalu banyak kenangan manis dan pahit kami disini. Mula-mula masuki kelas ini kami saling tidak kenali sama sendiri tapi lama kelamaan kami menjadi semakin erat lebih erat dari adik beradik sendiri. Dari semester satu sampai ke semester enam kami bersama. Kami juga memiliki PA yang baik dan terlalu ambil berat tentang kami iaitu Puan Fadhilah Binti Mohamad, beliau menjaga kami seperti anaknya sendiri selama 3tahun kami menuntut ilmu disini. Susah payah kami akhirnya kami berjaya menamatkan pengajian kami dengan jayanya.. Razali from Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah picked up the Gold Award in teh Architecture category for his work - "Kuantan Youth Centre". He Re:Created a single-purpose futsal court into a multi-functional centre that would meet the socio-economic needs of youth within Kuantan's city centre. The design incorporated sustainable building materials and focused on green solutions like a green wall to help air filtration in the building, skylights to reduce energy consumption and shades to limit glare from the sun. Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah also won Best Colour Choice Award, Best Lecturer Award, Best College / University Award and Best Supporting College /University Award.
The Gold winners in Malaysia walked away with RM3,000 in cash and will be heading to Japan in March next year, together with Gold winners from six other countries in the region. The learning trip to Japan will give the Gold winners an opportunity to meet with renowned architects and interior designers including the likes of Takeshi Sugimoto (Super Potato) and Sadao Tsuchiya (MUJI) from Japan, in addition to other designers from China, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. The NPYDA is an annual event to celebrate and to recognise outstanding works by students in the field of interior design and architecture. Kami juga memiliki PA yang baik dan terlalu ambil berat tentang kami iaitu Puan Fadhilah Binti Mohamad, beliau menjaga kami seperti anaknya sendiri selama 3tahun kami menuntut ilmu disini. Siti Soleha Hassan, 22, graduan Diploma Kejuruteraan Perkhidmatan Bangunan Politeknik Kuching, Sarawak (PKS) berkata beliau akan membawa label Politeknik hingga ke alam pekerjaan nanti. "Saya bertekad untuk memberi imej terbaik kepada Politeknik sebagai institusi latihan vokasional dan teknikal terbaik sehingga saya bekerja nanti. "Saya mahu orang tahu dan kenal beginilah kualiti produk tenaga kerja dilahirkan Politeknik," katanya ketika ditemui pada Majlis Konvokesyen Ke-22 PKS di sebuah hotel di sini semalam. Menceritakan pengalamannya sepanjang menuntut di PKS, Siti anak kelahiran Sandakan, Sabah berkata beliau berdepan banyak kekangan kerana terpaksa belajar jauh daripada ibu bapa. Bagaimanapun katanya, kekangan itu tidak pernah dilihat sebagai alasan untuk tidak melakukan yang terbaik lebih-lebih lagi ketika di bangku sekolah beliau kurang menyerlah dalam bidang akademik. "Menyeimbangkan aktiviti luar dan masa belajar itulah resipi kejayaan saya kerana ia dapat mengelak saya daripada berasa tertekan lebih-lebih lagi tinggal berjauhan daripada keluarga," katanya. Anak kelima daripada enam adik-beradik yang dibesarkan dalam keluarga pendidik itu kini sedang melanjutkan pengajiannya di peringkat Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan Perkhidmatan Bangunan di Politeknik Shah Alam. |
